You will need:
6 teaspoons of Japanese green tea like Firepot’s Japanese Peasant Tea
1 cup of water
3 ounces of Japanese Whiskey. I like Suntory Hakushu with notes of forest and smoke, with Japanese Peasant tea ice.
- Steep Japanese green tea to double strength. So, steep 6 teaspoons of tea in 165 degree water (10 minutes off the boil) for 2 minutes.
- Pour tea into an ice sphere mold and freeze
- Put the ice sphere in a cocktail glass and add Japanese whiskey.
